Paige Norfolk

Specialist Support Coordinator  - Melbourne West

I started my journey in education supporting students with a disability and have awareness of the school system. My clinical knowledge has continued in my previous role as an Early Intervention Therapist (Key Worker) where I further developed my skills in childhood development, working towards participant’s outcomes, and supporting families. I’m keen to extend my knowledge and experience across the life span. Through my personal and professional experience, I have supported individuals with ADHD, Autism Spectrum, and Intellectual Disability. I hold qualifications in Education (Primary Teaching and Special Education), Bachelor of Psychology, and Human Resources Management. My qualification in psychology has provided me with knowledge and skills in communication, relationships, behaviour and brain function, mental health, and psychosocial disability.

In my professional relationships with participants, I strive to apply a person-centered approach and to assist the participant and their supports to discover the participant’s strengths and great potential in life. When working together I will apply a caring approach whilst holding accountability and professionalism. As a support coordinator I will strive to support my participants to better understand NDIS, collaborating with providers, and navigating community-based systems.
