Christine Burns

Specialist Support Coordinator - Perth

My passion has always been to empower and support those around me and I’m a strong believer in the saying “Together we grow and achieve more”.

I have completed a BA Psychology Degree, a Diploma of Community Services Work, Cert IV in Children’s Services and Trauma Informed courses to better understand the challenges we are all facing.

I have had the privilege in working alongside different care teams to support families. Receiving notes from families, thanking me for supporting them through challenging times and witnessing people gaining a new sense of confidence, from “I can’t do this” to “I have done it”, are just some of the most rewarding moments in my career.

In tough moments, I remind myself there are times for “Dory’s - Let’s keep swimming” but that it is also ok to “float” on the water to regain new energy.

“I’m not afraid of storms, for I’m learning how to sail my ship” (Louisa May Alcott).

In my down time I like to go for a jog, walk, listening to clips/ audiobooks, connecting with family and friends, and cuddling with my two cats.

Our Perth team are “Person Centred” with the aim to carefully connect Participants with the right Support Coordinator.

Navigating the NDIS journey can be confusing. My aim is to make this process as easy and effective as possible for you.

Let’s live our best life.
