Stephanie Houston

Support Coordinator - Loddon Region

Having completed my Bachelor of Pharmacy degree in 2013 and working for 8 years as a community pharmacist, I became aware of my passion and purpose in life, for helping those in my local community and surrounds. I was lucky enough to engage with people of all abilities in this role, and gain a wide understanding of individual needs. When my daughter was identified as having additional needs at a very young age, my passion for helping people grew far stronger than ever before.

I strive to be a top achiever in everything I do, and I love the opportunity that Support Coordination gives me in applying this to achieving the best results I can for my participants. I love being able to apply my creative mind and think outside the box when we are looking for the most efficient ways to support individual needs. I love a challenge and learning new skills.

I am currently in the process of studying my Masters of Education, and hope to be able to apply this knowledge in the field of assisting children and others in alternative education settings, to work with children’s strengths and neurodiverse superpowers, and determine the best method to help them engage and learn to their absolute best ability.
Being a Support Coordinator has allowed me to help and support people in ways that can change lives and make a substantial difference, and this means the world to me.
