Emily Mynard

Support Coordinator - Loddon Region

I have a bachelor’s in Public Health and Health Promotion, Diploma in Health Sciences, and a Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance. I’m currently doing a Master of Social Work Degree.

I’m extremely passionate about improving one’s overall well-being. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to participate in volunteer work while I was completing my degree. I was able to work with some of the most vulnerable people in our community. This gave me great insight and a lot of knowledge about how I can best support those around me through my work as a support coordinator. I believe successful Support Coordination should show a mix of interpersonal, communication and also customer service skills. I can demonstrate these qualities through my empathy, attentive listening and reading my participants body language.

In my current role at Future Focus Support Coordination I support participants in the Loddon Mallee region while based in Bendigo.
