            Level 2 Coordination of Support focuses on assisting participants to understand and implement their NDIS Plan. This is done through providing education around NDIS policies and procedures, developing a budget plan in collaboration with the participant, and establishing connections with supports and services. We uphold the NDIS standards and ensure participants have choice and control over who delivers the supports and how they do it. Level 2 Coordinators also assist participants to maintain relationships with service providers and to monitor the NDIS budgets, with the aim to ensure the continuity of care and support. They report to NDIA regularly and help participants prepare for any NDIS review. For any NDIS Participant, unforeseen events might occur in the course of the plan period, where one’s goal and needs would change. A Support Coordinator would then guide the participant through the NDIS process to change their NDIS plan. For example, we facilitate linkages with services to complete necessary assessment, gather essential documentation and apply to the Agency for a review.

            focuses on addressing complex barriers to promote the consistency of services. Our Specialist Coordinators work closely with your support team to identify the problem(s) and barrier(s), review available resources, set up and implement action plans, and regularly review outcomes. During a crisis situation, Specialist Support Coordinators deliver crisis responses including planning, prevention, mitigation and action. In other words, Specialist Coordinators maintain the immediate safety of participants. This is done via building a team around the participant, navigating cross-system supports, coordinating the care team to maximise collaboration among the NDIA, government departments, NDIS-funded supports, (allied) health professionals, and informal support network. Specialist Support Coordination should be provided by qualified and trained specialists.
